As a child i was never big, I worked in a factory and gradually started to put weight on by eating the wrong foods at the wrong times.

For years I never thought about losing weight, I just thought what was the point - this is who I am!!

But then I got married and 3 kids later I was bigger than ever and everyday life got harder and i knew my health was suffering. Then last year while at a family occasion my wife`s sister was there and she had recently joined Unislim herself, I hadn’t seen her in a while and I couldn’t believe how much weight she had lost. It was the shock that my wife Rowena and I needed.

So the following week we both joined our local Unislim class and weighed in for the first time with our Leader Orla! To see my weight there on the screen in black and white was quite a shock.

And so began my road to a healthier and happier new life! Because my wife and I did it together it was the encouragement that we both needed to succeed.

When people stop me in the street and ask how on earth did you do it I get such a buzz and I am very proud of myself because I just can`t believe that I stuck to it.

Thanks to Unislim I have my life back.
