Over the past few years I was gradually gaining weight. I really wasn’t making the right choices when it came to food. Every now and again I would promise myself that I would have a healthier lifestyle, exercise more, eat less and lose weight. I always had great intentions, but after a few weeks, I’d slip back into the old habits and find myself back where I started.
After having my second baby last year, I decided this is it! I joined Unislim the day after my son’s christening, he was six weeks old and I haven’t looked back. Joining Unislim changed how I looked at food. I got the information and support that I needed every week in order to lose weight. For me, carbohydrates were a big issue. I’ve learnt about correct portion sizes. I was eating too many carbs throughout the day. But now that has all changed and the changes that I have made have made a huge difference in my life and on the scales.
I stayed each week for the class talk with Ann Hynes, which we really enjoy and has been of huge benefit to me and my weight loss. Now I am 3 and a half stone lighter, I have so much more energy. I am delighted at how I feel and look and am so happy that I made the decision to join Unislim and that has changed my lifestyle for the better.
