I guess the reason I joined Unislim was less to do with vanity and more to do with my health. For quite a while I'd felt low in energy and I wanted to make a change, so when a Unislim class started up in the local hall I thought it was the perfect time to join.
DOUBLE BONUS
My wife and I joined together and even from the very first class I felt the difference immediately - it was amazing. Our Class Leader Breda, made so much sense and she explained everything from the outset so it was really easy to understand.
CLASS ACT
I suppose it made it easier to join with my wife, nut I didn't ever feel intimidated in the class. It's a really relaxed atmosphere and you pick up a lot of tips - I'd really recommend staying for the meeting. In the first week I lost 10 pounds - i couldn't believe it! - and it gave me the kick-start I needed to keep going. It gave me such a great feeling I thought, 'I'm going to keep doing this'. We follow the Food Maximizing Plan, which is all about healthy eating, and it was just what my wife and I needed.
MAKING CHANGES
These days, everything from exercising to shopping for clothes is easier. I went from a 36" waist to a 32" waist, which is amazing and I actually enjoy exercising now. Before I joined Unislim, I probably wasn't the fittest guy, and even for the first few weeks exercise was hard, but it just git easier and easier. Now I walk a lot and I do regular circuit training. It's given me so much energy, I feel 10 year younger!

MIND MATTERS
You've got to get into the right mind-set. I was ready to lose weight when I joined and I had it in my head to commit to it. If you don't want to be there then it won't work. You can't do it for anyone else but yourself. But I'd definitely recommend other men give it a go. I feel so much better for it. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.
KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL
Breakfast: I'll have porridge with fruit and a cup of tea. I find it sets me up for the day.
Snack: I usually have a piece of fruit. I'll have pieces throughout the day.
Lunch: Chicken salad with loads of 'FREE' foods.
Dinner: Chicken breast with baby potatoes and lots of vegetables.
