"How would I best describe how I feel after my weight loss? Happiness! It's as simple as that. I am a happy person, and I know that others can see it. People tell me I 'glow' and that I always have a smile on my face.

Before joining Unislim I was going through a tough time, and although stress did result in pounds dropped, it wasn't a natural kind of weight loss. I joined Unislim because I wanted to lose weight healthily, and from the first week it worked for me. I didn't find going to classes every week a problem – I looked forward to them actually! And seeing the weight continue to come off made keeping my willpower even easier.

Friends and family have commented on how much more of a confident, outgoing person I am today. My daughters' school friends have even described me as a 'yummy mummy'! Before, I hated going clothes shopping, but now it's easy. Taking pride in my appearance is a way of life now, and I'll never look back."

Geana's Advice

Learn about portions - "If I ordered a takeaway I'd cut it in half. It's not hard when you make it a habit, and you're still full!"

Attend classes every week - "This is the best advice I was ever given. Good week or bad, attending regularly is the key to success."

Take the lead - "I've decided to become a Class Leader. The members know that I will be honest with them, and that's the most important thing."

Cupboard Confidential

Geana's typical daily diet

Breakfast - "First thing in the morning I'll have a cup of cooled boiled water with a slice of lemon in it. Then I'll have a bowl of Weetabix with some banana on top."

11am - "I'll have my daily cup of coffee. I've given up tea and cigarettes, but I do allow myself this one treat."

Lunch - \"I'll have a big mixed salad. I love salads now! I might also have some crackers spread with Laughing Cow Light, and I always have an Activia yoghurt.\"

Snacktime -  "I love pieces of cold meat. Slices of ham keep me going."

Dinner - "I'll tend to go for the meat and two veg option. I love potatoes, but keep them to a reasonable portion. A small steak - or half a large one! - gives me energy."
