A trip to Paris to study was a fabulous experience, but while living there I noticed that my weight was increasing quite rapidly.
Perhaps it was being away from home that encouraged this, or the long breaks between lectures that found me snacking in the college library. What certainly didn't help was the gorgeous (but very fattening) French food that was one every corner!
On my return to Ireland I was aware that my shape had changed quite dramatically since my departure. I read the Unislim Living supplement in the Christmas edition of the RTE Guide and I hoped I could mimic the success of the members featured. In the first three weeks of following the Unislim programme I lost almost ten pounds. I was told that such dramatic
results weren't expected of me but of course I was thrilled! I now weigh nine stone and twelve pounds and I love my new figure.
It might sound easy for me, but there was challenge involved. Becoming involved with Unislim meant thinking about eating and exercise in a new way completely. Once the idea of good nutrition clicks into place, however, the benefits show themselves rapidly. I eat a good breakfast, I avoid chips and takeaways and I've even learned how to resist the call of my seriously sweet tooth – most of the time! Slimming with Unislim didn't mean total denial,which was the best approach for me.
