hi littledoll
well im having a bad day today too , its not that im slipping foodwise but my partner is so unsupportive, i felt like life would be easier if i just sat and watched tv all day as my partner does. But i decided at 9.30pm that im worth more that he gives credit for so out i went for my walk, and i feel much better for it. I dont know if its the up n down weather or the recession that has us all in a flurry?? I even missed class this week bcos i couldnt find my US book, so il soldier on and hope that i havent done too much damage by next week, and i hope ur feeling better tomorrow.
I hate when u log on and u cant chat to someone, bcos its the best encouragement when u can talk to someone who understands what ur going thru...best of luck for next week

Hey Girls, hang on in there..... I was really enthusiastic the first few weeks, but then it gets kind of boring and old patterns resurface...... Still losing, but I would seriously want to be, I'm running at least 15-20k a week and breast feeding!!!!
Not being really naughty, but not as rigid as I was before!
Got to knuckle down again tomorrow....
My Mum has moved in, and keeps buying goodies...
Best of luck x x

Little doll the exact same thing happened me and now I'm at a standstill. Really all I have lost is 3lb in 6-7weeks and before I started I wasn't gaining either so I got very disheartened that with all my sacrificing, I wasn't losing. I have about a stone to lose and just cannot get anywhere with dropping it. I'm not dissing unislim because I know lots and lots of ppl have great results. I have seriously increased my exercise programme because I think this is what it is gonna take for me ta lose the stone. I will continue with the unislim programme for the simple reason that it is a very healthy programme to follow and hopefully I'll shift that stone.

Cookie star,
The running each week is a great way of assisting the weight loss program. I run on a daily basis. The benefits of walking or running will greatly enhance weight loss results over weeks and months ahead. You will have to remember by exercising you will develop alot of muscle groups in the body. Muscle weighs more than fat but takes up less space in the body(eg. i lost 2 inches off my waist) Long term extra muscle burns an incredible amounts of calories per day, long term even doing the same activities as say two months ago. Keep it up.
I normally recycle the sweet goodies from visitors or from an un supporting partner or friends treats that comes into the house by visiting friends you havent visited in a while or your brother or sister, aunt/uncle and pass on those treats
They dont have to be kept in the house. I guarantee that if an unsupporting partners sees the treats he buys you just going to other people he will soon get the message that sweety treats are no longer on the menu and say to him that if you buy healthy treats that they will stay in the house. This will focus his mind. This is speaking from a male class leader point of view who sees this trait quite common in some un supporting partners.
Suggest alternative non sweety treats that you like, make it easy on your partner to become part of your weight loss journey. Its a learning curve for him as well. You will also find that your partner will lose some lbs in the process.
Remember your doing this program for you , not anyone else. Its Ok to have tunnell vision at times. Keep on remembering why you went on the program in the first place.
Never give up on your own goals. Leave that for others whom give up on their own dreams.

Thanks Thomas for the pep talk, feel inspired again..... Like the tip on redistribution of treats!!!!
My downfall is the kids sweetie press!!!
Also I have a hubbie that runs too, but he thinks that means he can eat tonnes of crap at the weekend!!! Unless I was marathon training, I do not think you can eat that level of food!!! LOL x

Well done littledoll-absolutely brill! I know what u mean about havin a skinny boyfriend, that's what has helped me get to the size I'm at, thinking I can eat the same as him and not put on any weight- not so! I'm hoping he'll realise how much better it is to eat well and will join me eating healthy.

Hi 'Feeling Frumpy'. I'm the same as you in that I am watching my diet
and exercising loads and drinking water yet the pounds are not shedding.
I said this to my gym instructor and she told me not to be weighing
myself too often that because I am not very overweight, I may not
results on the scales but rather will see it when she measures my body
fat percentage and measurements again after my first few weeks of my new
fitness programme. You'd be thinking ALL the exercise has to do some
good !!
It's annoying though cos we are all the same-love to see it on the scales!!!! Ooooh to just be thin!!!!
