sorry Colette,  mis read your post there and realised you are wearing a dress for the first time in 12 years  not a dress you have had for 12 years- I thought it a bit strange all right having a dress in your wardrobe for 12 years, then again some people do.

Think I need to go to spec savers!

Hello all and well done on sticking with your weightloss plans. Here is a little tip for you which might help with the nibbles; Lidl do a wheat cracker bread which gives you 4 biscuits per one carb. If you are feeling peckish you could put some cottage cheese, tomato and cucumber on it or even a scrape of jam if you like something sweet. 4 crackers = 1 slice of bread.... 30 gr... good value for one carb
WE ONLY LIVE ONCE... MAKE IT COUNT.

Hi girls

Thanks Missbas for ur comments, i did wear a dress, knee length, bought from littlewoods catalogue and i was very proud of myself, it was a strapless one, but i had to put the straps on as the bust was so loose on me!! That also gave me a bit more confidence to wear it, i had a great time and i didnt fall over, though i did bring a pair of flats to wear for the evening part, and got loads of nice comments.

I just had my weigh-in this evening, nervous about going because of the four course meal and drinks i had at the wedding, but was surprised to learn that ive lost 2 lbs this week, i couldnt believe it.

So now im 3 lbs away from loosing 2 stone, im hoping i can do it in a week and if not, within 2 weeks. Ive just made a huge batch of free soup, for me to have during the week, even the hubby helped make it as he loves it. So we were chatting and now he wants to follow the unislim plan with me, which is great news, as he is noticing the difference in me, so now he wants to change his lifestyle too.

Hope u all have a great week

Thats great colette that you are only 3lbs from the 2 stone mark.  You must really be feeling a difference in your clothes, isnt it fantastic.
I had my weigh in last night and lost 4.5lbs and got to first temporary target!  I really did stick to the plan 100%, no cheating and also did the soup.   I have been at this since May and lost 19lbs but i have found it tough at times.  I still have a fair bit to go yet but at least I can now get back to wearing my at least some of my size 14 clothes again.

Best of luck to everyone this week

Hi missbas

Well done 4.5 lbs is a great loss. U must be delighted
Ive been working hard on this plan, walking every evening, rain or shine and sticking to the food plan. Ive found the last 2-3 weeks really hard because of the weather, being stuck inside with the kids all day, they are bored and all there is to do is eat, and its soooo hard with kids not to buy treats for them, because they always ask for sweets. But on the good side they are now gulping down water, because they see me drinking it too.

Keep up the good work, its not easy but its worth it!!
