Hi everyone
I was just wondering if anyone would like to share their weightloss goals for this week, and then let me know how u get on, did u reach it and if u did, tell me what helped u most, was it exercise, food or drinks?
My goal for this week is to loose 1 - 2 lbs this week, my weigh in is tonite!! I have been drinking lots of green tea this week and walking everyday so im hoping for the best.
I am a busy mum of four, 2 boys and 2 girls, aged 5 to 12 years old, and would love to meet some unislim buddies.

best of luck for ur weigh in tonite.  sounds like u had a good week so hopefully it will show on the scales.
i am also a busy mum to 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy aged between 3 months and 7 years. i have my weigh in tommorrow nite and my goal for this week is 2 - 3 pounds. had a good week, have been to the gym 3 times and also got out for 4 walks/jogs. also skipped on alcohol completly this weekend, not that i drink a lot but i usually have 3 or 4 drinks at home with dh on a sat nite. food wise i have stuck to the plan so am hoping for a good result.
i think that if i manage to get the excercise in it keeps me on track food wise so that is somthing i try to stay on top off, fitting in the excercise with 3 small children can be a bit tricky but we have to make time for ourselves.

Thanks for ur responce, well i have good news, 3 lbs loss this week, im over the moon!! I have 1 stone 2 lbs gone in 6 weeks.
I put my loss down to lots of exercise this week, here is a run down
wednesday swimming
thurs 40 mins walking
friday 30 mins walking (in d rain)
saturday 30 mins of Wii fit
sunday day off
monday 1 hour walking
tues 20 mins yoga on Wii fit
Please feel free to add on during the week and i will update myself again next Tuesday, and best of luck Lalu with such young children it must be hard to find some time for yourself, but its worth it at the end of the week.

well done on ur weight loss this week, 3 pounds is great  . 16 pounds in 6 weeks, thats impressive.
i was down 2.5 pounds this week which makes it 28 pounds in 12 weeks. 2 down 2 to go.
the excercise really does boost the weight loss, plus it makes u feel so much more energetic, need all the energy i can get lol.
am going to aim for between 2 and 3 pounds next week.

Well im impressed another 2 lbs loss is fab and 28 lbs in 12 weeks, well done u!!!  Im delighted with my weightloss as it was my sons birthday this week and i resisted all the temptations by playing hostess, making sure everyone had food and giving all the sweets to the kiddies, i drank my green tea while i served birthday cake to my guests and nobody even noticed i wasnt eating. I know if i had started munching on one thing i wouldnt have lost any weight this week.
Id like to aim for 2-3 pounds next week and i will be happy with 1 or 2, i hope the rain stays away bcos i got soaked the other night trying to keep fit.

Well ive lost another pound, not a lot but at least its a loss. I think i overdone things food wise, eating popcorn and MnMs in the cinema on Sunday, but all these little pounds add up at the end of the month.
I have lost inches, which is good news, i got rid of some of my baggy clothes, and had a 'granny' knickers n bra burning ceremony today. Im determined that il never wear them again, i got new clothes in the Next sale on Saturday, sizes 16 and 18, i used to be a size 20.
But im prepared for tomorrow with my free soup and salad already prepared in the fridge, just hope this rain passes so i can get out power walking, im going swimming tomorrow with the kiddies so hopefully i will have a nice loss next week,

ur doing very well and yes all the little pounds come together and form stones its very nice wen the clothes sizes come down too i was a size 22 but am now comfy in a 14-16 am hoping for a pound next wk myself as i was down 2 today that a bag of sugar have u tried to lift ur 8 bag of sugar u have lost so far u should try it its not easy. good luck for the wk

Can i join this thread, i joined unislim 6 wks ago had my fifth weigh in last nite lost 1lb so down 13lb altogether so next week im hoping for my stone plus another lb or 2! You are all doing very good i luv the plan and tis site is great for the the motivation.

well done collette, a pound is a great loss, very hard to lose 2-3 pounds every week. nothing better than getting rid of clothes that have gone to big for you. you do right treating urself to some new clothes. i was a size 16 13 weeks ago and now im a size 12, but most of my preprgnancy clothes are size 8 - 10 so have a bit to go yet before they fit me.
i have my weigh in tonite so i will let u know how i get on, had a spurlge on sat evening and had a chicken fillet burger out of the chipers so hope i have not done too much damage.
weigh everything well done on ur weight loss, 43 pounds is a real achievment.
mumsy 13 pounds in 6 weeks is fantastic, youll have no problem getiing that stone nect week!

Just wanted to say you are all doing brilliantly - Well done. My goal this week was to loose 1lb and I did it at my weigh in last night. So now I am officially down 1 stone. Its taken 9 weeks but I feel a hell of a lot better for it. Thats 1 stone down, 3 to go...lets keep it up.

down 1.5 pounds tonite  . wont be able to make class next week as we are going off for a few nites with kids so am aiming for 3-4 pounds for the following week.
missbas well done on ur first stone  a steady weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week is the way to go.

After a disaster last week, my plans this week are to stick to the plan - to the letter. I've dusted myself off, and super-glued my a$$ to the wagon - I'm not going to fall off anyitime soon

My target for this week is to stop my 10:30pm munching - I have found myself the last few weeks having a sneaky biscuit or a funsize packet of malteesers or just before I go to bed. I am not hungry or anything like it, its just a habit thats after creeping in. So I figure if I write it down here I might stick with it. So here goes for this week.

i missed my class this week, dont ask!!! But im sticking to the plan, though i did have a few sneaky glasses of wine, but the walking should help me get rid of those.
welcome fergus, writing down everything u eat will help u to loose thoses pounds and of course being active too.
welcome missbas, yes those treats are hard to resist, the easy way out is DONT BUY THEM, or if u have kiddies like me, just buy enough so that theres none left over for u to munch on, and best of luck.
I will keep u posted next week and hopefully have good news

Hello everyone To help get past this long w/e think ahead. Before you can say BOO we will be in Sept. Think of all the new members who will be joining a Unislim class then.... where will you be? You will be way ahead because you will have had a great first w/e of August. This w/e I intend to get out walking as much as possible. Make the very most of the Summer we have left, do not waste time on the housework or the ironing, get out, the ironing can wait till during the week when the w/e is over. If you are going out whats the problem? Count those carbs and get the exercise in:) Have a great w/e

Hello guys
I hope u are all enjoying the holidays, although the weather's not been great. Ive had another great week and i am 4 lbs down this week. Im delighted but ive put in alot of hard work, walking every nite and using my wii fit too.
Ive started using a Nike ipod sensor, which not only tracks ur distance, but tracks ur speed, times, etc. Its been a great encouragement for me to keep walking, esp when i get home i connect it to my laptop and can see my results for myself, i have set new goals for myself too. If u have friends who also have it u can compete against each other or team up to complete a challenge.

well done Colette_11, fantastic weight loss. I too stuck to my guns this week, did not attack the munchies cupboard and I was down 1.75lbs. It really does show that when you put your mind to it and focus on something what you can achieve. I am thrilled, now onto another week.
Hopefully I am on my way to a half stone by the end of August.

Well done on all the weightloss, i missed my last weeks class and had been really good that week but went out last tues nite and then all week didnt have motivation i put it down to missing class! Now i didnt go crazy but i defo wasnt sticking well to it but went last nite and was down 1lb was delighted thats my first stone down! Keep it up all x
