Hi Choc Is there another class you could get to this week instead? The problem with a "week off" is we are inclined to be a little less conscious of how we are doing and then there is another weekend to get through. If you can't make a class this week then weigh yourself tonight and make a note of it so you will know if you are up or down. If you are up it will make you aware of what you are doing this week. GET YOURSELF BUMMED OUT GIRL....:)

Hi Annemarie You're probably expecting a reply from chocoholic, but it is me instead!  Thanks for your last post to me about motivation etc. I think it is getting a little easier. Didn't make it to the gym at all, like I had hoped. I have been doing the DVD however. I did it 3 times in the week I think, building up each time. I was really happy last night. Every time I was about to give up and think I couldn't manage any more, I pushed myself to keep going a little further and was surprised at how I was actually able to keep going. I find it gets a little easier as I go along, several times a week. I managed the first two sections last night. I don't have the equipment for the last section. I felt great however after a 45 minute workout with the DVD. I also got the raspberry vitagrain last night, which are very nice. They are a great night time or afternoon snack for me now and are filling me. They were in the cereals aisle in Tesco. I weighed myself today and I am down on the scales at home. It usually weighs heavier than the UNislim scales, so I hope it is right. I never trust it however as I am quite sure I am up for the first time since starting. Ah well. Have to keep at it.

Well done Grainne... you seem really positive now and I think you can expect to be down tomorrow. However even if youre not you have the right attitude. Yea the DVD is fantastic and if you alternate between it and a walk or gym you will be doing really well. You are developing a good routine now and think... by the end of the 7 weeks of lent you will have lost all the bad habits and have lost more weight also. Keep up the great work girl. Glad to hear the Vitagrain is doing the trick for you on the hunger stakes...

Well my weighing scales at home never weighs the same as the one in unislim - it always weighs you lighter - so I don't bother using it normally. But I weighed in at 3 pounds lighter than in unislim last week - I know its not my proper weight, but I'll be able to tell if I've lost weight this week. fingers crossed!!!

Hi Annemarie strangely enough, I was down again this week. Pure miracle!  I had lost 2.75 pounds during the week. Hopefully I can keep it up.

Good luck Curragh. I'm sure you will do well. Mpst of us were bad at some stage during the week since last WI and we have still done fine.
Thanks Annemarie. I want to get rid of three pounds if I can for next weeks weigh in, so I will try hard. I have 0.5 pounds to lose in order to reach the one and a half stone mark. Hopefully Lent will help a bit.

Grainne You have lost one and a half stone already, thats great, why are you looking to lose 3lbs for next week? Thats a lot and if anything goes wrong and you dont succeed you might be depressed about it. I know you are determined but do your best and who knows it might even be the 3 lbs you want but dont be disappointed if it's not. Remember 1 lb a week is 4 stone in a year
